Deja Vu, All Over Again: As With the 1990s, the Left Again Demonizes Lovers of Liberty. And Other Stuff |

I think, like myself, most of the subscribers and regular readers of this site knew what was coming when Barack Obama was elected President and began to put Clintonistas in Cabinet and other Administrative positions. And I think, like myself, readers here knew that at some point pretty soon after the Inauguration, some Law Enforcement agency in some state or "FEMA Region" would put out something like what the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) has recently put out for that state's law enforcement operatives: that supporters of Ron Paul and Bob Barr and the Constitution Party are domestic "terrorists." Heck, the Southern Poverty Law Center could have written this back in 1994! Janet Reno could have authored this same thing after Okie City, and in fact did put out some kind of document in 1995 claiming, among other things, that folks who had more than three days of stored food in the house, and homeschoolers, were possible "terrorist" threats. If you are old enough to remember this then you also remember than anyone who was "anti-government" was also a "white supremist/Christian Identity/neo-nazi/anti-Semitic/right-wing-wackjob" as well as "patriot militia" member...which included groups like Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership and the Black Patriot Militia (If my memory serve me, that was what they called themselves), groups one could hardly call anti-Semitic or racist. It was a time when all "rednecks" were "angry white men" and all homeschoolers where ready to send their kids to some Aryan Nations summer camp! Well, folks, we are beginning to see the return of those heady days or fearmongering. |

Too damned predictible! But there is a reason they keep pulling this nonsense: because it works! Since the time of John Adams and the Alien and Sedition Acts, which mostly served to affect the Jeffersonians and other Anti-Federalists, the group in power (in terms of right vs. left) has always, and I mean always, sought to demonize the group (right vs. left) that was temporarily out of power. Do I have to recount every single example? No, because the Campaign for Liberty's Anthony Gregory and The American Conservative have already done that job! But from my own first hand experience I will never forget the fear in people's eyes after Okie City--we were temporarily living in El Paso--what with their beliefs that "the militia crazies" were out to destroy the USA! Ordinary folks bought Hillary Clinton's "vast right wing conspiracy" BS hook, line, and sinker. And, even closer to home, there were folks I had known for many years out here in the Davis Mountains that considered me and my husband "infamous" or even "terrorists" because they believed we were thick into Rick McLaren's "Republic of Texas" movement and were coming for their grandkids--literally, because they refused to allow our children to play with their grandkids in the summer! |

Thus, THEY will do this again, until every last one of us is in some internment or concentration camp. But then THEY will go after those who would not speak up, those folks who believe the garbage that Ron Paul supporters are "terrorists", that those who defend the Constitution are "enemies of the people" and that those who criticize the Federal government are "hate criminals." |

Edgar J. Steele, one of the better writers on these issues, in his "Second Annual State of the American Revolution," says the following: "Or, I would advocate shooting back if I could, that is. By then, I expect that all who speak out as do I will have been rounded up and sent to the camps already constructed by Halliburton under the pretense of maintaining order under the inevitable decree of martial law. If it weren't already too late for me, I would shut up and keep a low profile, which is exactly what I advocate you do if you have not already earned a camp ticket. In for a penny, in for a pound." Well, I don't know if I have "already earned a ticket," and I don't know if anyone reading this or subscribing to this has "earned a ticket," but while "keeping a low profile" might make sense now--if you are "afraid" of what THEY will do, and live in fear of what THEY will do--when push comes to shove, will you even be able to "keep a low profile"? Folks trying to "keep a low profile," such as drug dealers who intentionally drive well below the speed limit so the cops won't stop them and check for contraband because those who (cops are trained to believe) intentionally drive 55 in a 70 mph zone MUST have something to hide, are getting tasered, arrested, tortured and whatnot every single day! Did "keeping a low profile" help the hundreds of young Afghani Muslims rounded up by the Northern Alliance and sold to US forces as "terrorists" for bounty--whereupon those unfortunates, in the wrong place at the wrong time, were sent to Bagram and Gitmo to be tortured? Did "keeping a low profile" help innocent city dwellers in Cambodia under Pol Pot, when the Khmer Rouge rounded up EVERYBODY in Pnomh Penh and other cities and sent them walking into "re-education camps" those who didn't starve and die of thirst along the way? Did "keeping a low profile" save the gypsys of Europe during Hitler's time, two-year-old and seventy-year-old innocent Palestinians in Gaza who, by IDF troops own admission, were innocently slaughtered? So, will "keeping a low profile" keep you, reader or not, out of one of the Halliburton camps? |

Now, if you really are too damned "afraid" to defend your right to freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment to the US Constitution and too damned afraid to act under the Bill of Rights and defend those rights, then continue to live in fear. I can't and I won't help you, but wish you well and will pray for you. If you won't speak out because you're a Christian and believe Romans 13 says you cannot criticize the government and defend your rights because Barack Obama, not the United States Constitution, is the "supreme law of the land," then I cannot and will not help you. |
But if you will exercise your right to freedom of speech, freedom to bear arms, and freedom to keep for yourselves and your soveriegn state's rights not granted to the Federal government under the 9th and 10th amendments, and continue to blog or whatever your voice about what can be done to lessen THEIR power (because only the return to the rule of law and sound money can remove THEM from most of THEIR power, and that will take some sort of "revolution"), then you have my support. A subscriber sent me a link to a Citizens Petition for Redress of Grievances put out by the Campaign for Liberty to redress the grievance of the MIAC report calliong Ron Paul, his supporters, libertarians, Chuck Baldwin voters (such as myself), Bob Barr-LP supporters and members, and those who support the US Constitution "potential terrorists". I signed the petition and now so can you. Continue to sound off as long as you do not advocate violence, hatred, or violating the Constitution (which, though imperfect, is the law we have and it's better than most...only the Law of God is perfect). Still, be prepared and read up on what possibilities exist that you can do: "It is the duty of every patriot to make the tyrant's life miserable". |

In other news... |

I had this rant prepared but I have scrapped it...because there appears to be a huge groundswell in the US against what Rosa "Mrs. Monsanto" de Lauro is trying to do in trying to outlaw organic farming, farmer's markets, and home gardening without a permit (and Monsanto's GM seeds). Here and here you can read up on the issue of HR 875, and take heart in the fact that even Michelle Obama is planting a backyard garden at the White House. Now, Congress isn't going to pass a bill that even the First Lady would be violating, will it? And if it did pass, would her husband sign it into law? And even if he did sign it, do you honestly think that will keep you from growing your own food for you and your family? How many divisions does Monsanto have so THEY can fine and arrest every single American growing homegrown tomatoes? As the article above says: "It is the duty of every patriot to make the tyrant's life miserable." |

The same goes for gun owners, BTW. I truly expect the Obama Administration to pass something to curb gun ownership in the US. Since the DoD is going to make it impossible to buy scrap bullet metal to make your own bullets, you can still buy bullets now and I say load up. If THEY try to force you to register your firearms, either turn one in and keep the rest (buried somewhere) or bury all of them. I am sure you will think of something! There are something like 90 million gun owners in the US. Most of these are "angry white/black/Hispanic/Asian/whatever men" types who I assume will NOT turn in their guns, so then THEY have to round up 90 million people!?! Them, plus the 50 million more who do not own guns but plant gardens?? Put that together with the fact that there are military and law enforcement people who will refuse to round us up and have vowed to defend the Constitution, and well... THEY only have a prayer if we let THEM have it. |

Finally, I said I would post a link to Alex Jones's latest video, "The Obama Deception." If you have the bandwidth (it is a two hour video!) or an unmetered internet access account, here is the link to it. It's a good one. |
