Out-Rising, Part 1

So, what can I say? The weather here is still great and it's warm during the day and cool at night; the grasshoppers seem to be more pliant as for me pulling their heads off before they can damage the garden as much as they would like to...it's almost as if they are remaining calm as I pluck them up and grab their heads and pull. Further, aphids, as many as there are on our collards, bok choy, radishes, etc., are easily dealt with: either smoosh them off the underside of the leaf, or spray some "dish-soap water" (a capfull at most of dish soap per spray bottle of water) on the plants, especially underneath, and also on the ground where the little buggers are walking around almost unseen. And I am alert for the snorting of little tusked, musky-smelling javelinas--peccaries to you all in more eastern and northern climes--who better not even think about crashing under the gate and fence of our garden! And, oh yeah, Congress just passed the "Wall Street bailout" Friday morning. There is a song that goes: "I read the news today, oh boy..."

So, folks, what do we call a system where the people's representatives do the bidding of the corporate interests, banks, and the military-industrial complex? I will let the reader answer this. There. I asked it. I do make suggestions (see below) but folks it is up to you to decide what you think is happening. But here is food for thought. Supposedly (this is all over the internet; I've seen it on at least ten different websites), if the bailout bill didn't pass Bush would have declared martial law. (What the heck. There has been some form of extra-constitutional government over us since the Trading With The Enemy Act of FDR in 1933). We'll never know if that was true or not...suffice it to say it would not have surprised me if he did. Psy-ops and fearmongering! So, now what?

Anyone who STILL thinks Congress represents the people and not the corporations, not the oligarchs, and not the M-I complex that has bought them off is in DENIAL! Folks, I am not angry (not really) about the bailout, as I expected it, threat of martial law of not. Do you really expect a tiger to change it's stripes, especially when so many in Congress are not only bought and paid for, but have heavily invested in these corporations themselves? The ONLY people who can and do represent WE THE PEOPLE are WE THE PEOPLE! The "experiment" in representative democracy is over and it failed. Period. Maybe Mike "Direct Democracy" Gravel is right.

And next comes bailing out municipal bonds, mutual funds, Social Security/Medicare (after all, aren't we supposed to "take care of our elders"?), NFL owners, paramututal betting losers, "Big Auto" and big auto insurance (where the GEICO ghecko becomes a Komodo Dragon), CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN/FOX, the New York Times (which will be bought out by Murdock no doubt), Wal-Mart, yadda yadda (but not "yadda yadda yadda"), until it all collapses anyway because by then we'll be indebting the fifth and sixth generations, which is not in the Bible (and thus God won't allow it?). Just think, the House will refuse to bailout the People's Liberation Army of China on the first vote, but then Hu Jin Tao or someone threatens to nuke America. So they bailout the PLA on the second vote after the pass by the Senate. Do you get it yet? This bailout happened because this is what the Federal Reserve (privately owned) and FOREIGN CENTRAL BANKS DEMANDED, because these "smarter-than-the-average-American" KNEW that this was the ONLY way they would be paid back what America under George W. "war on terror" Bush owes them! Screw the $700 "very large number" billion...it'll be ten times that before it's over. By then, of course, we'll be paying close to 100% of our incomes to taxes, and those who have to pay this on top of their mortgages will be in debtors' prison. It all reminds me of that scene in "O! Brother, Where Art Thou?" when Pete, angry that Everett escaped the prison farm with him and Delmar chained to him only to find out there was no treasure after all, and about to be released from jail at that--knowing if he's sent back to jail it'll be another 50 years 'til he gets out--says, "You stole my life! I'll get out in 1987 when I'm 84 years old! Eighty-four years old!..." and Delmar replies, "Well, I'll only be 82!" That is, some of us'll be vitrual slaves, while the rest of us'll be virtual serfs. Unless...

Unless WE THE PEOPLE say screw this (bleep)! Unless WE THE PEOPLE, under the radar of THEIR perfumed noses and out of range of their stupid Illuminati tricks, GET OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM and start our own system, with our own (barter/gold/silver) currency, in our own small communities. Let 'em eat fiat money! Since the Wall Street Bailout is all about taking $700,000,000,000 or some "very large number" from the taxpayers and giving it to the banks/loan originators/lenders in order that they can now lend it back to us with interest, I say stop borrowing from them! Pay off your credit card debt, then send the cards back, except for the one you will keep that you can use and pay off every month. Buy a vehicle with cash. Need a house? Someone just sold one on E-Bay for $1.75! Pay off your mortgage (or not...that's up to you, but be prepared for the consequences of your actions). Forego college unless you can pay for it now; work at any job you can find until you can (Notice there are no more "Astrive Student Loans" commercials on TV anymore?). If you don't think you can hack it all, learn a foreign language and work overseas. Have medical problems and have no insurance? There are alternatives. Need "generic" meds that are too expensive in this country? I get my headache medication for a 79% reduction in price from an American-based pharmacy. Stop using debit cards to buy food and gas and whatever. Use cash. These are just some of the ways my husband and I "get" out of the system. And, again I'll say it: If you can, get out of the cities and suburbs, get out to the countryside and rural remote, grow you own food and livestock, and learn how to can/freeze fruits and veggies, preserve various foods, slaughter livestock, hunt and fish if you can, learn to repair your vehicle and appliances/small engines, homeschool your children, buy guns and plenty of ammo...you know, the same stuff I always recommend.

At last count about 50 sites are calling for the American people to "rise up". Just saw a Lyndon LaRouche video calling for revolution. This critter used to head the National Caucus of Labor Committees, a Trotskyite organization that has gotten FBI or CIA funding in the past! Beware of people and groups calling for some kind of armed uprising! These groups are ALWAYS infilltrated--ALWAYS! Uprising? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' UPRISING! What we need is an OUT-RISING! I will explain this in more detail next time. But for now...COURAGE, people, COURAGE.
