The 2008 Something Happening Here "Nothing Happening Here" Awards

Far be it for me, the non-conformist, to do what every other blogger-alternative-news and especially opinion person does, assign completely made up awards for usually the most absurd and satiracal spins on events and people, usually for a humorous reason. So I'll tell you what...I'll leave the spin out of it! The envelopes, please...

The "Then I'll put them on Double Secret Location!" Award: The world's "masters of the universe," ie. the banksters (Illuminist or not), for creating debt-credit-swap instruments known as deriviatives, absolutely NOT KNOWING the consequences of their actions, how many people would be impoverished, how much wealth would be destroyed, NOT KNOWING how much BS worthless paper THEY would wind up creating out of thinner air than our fiat currency, so thin you'd think THEY created it on Mt. Everest, for a BS amount that is now closing in on quintillions of "dollars"...a quintillion is 1 X 10 to the 18th power; when it reaches a google (1 X 10 to the 100th power), let me know...and, speaking of mathematics, by associating these fraudulent instruments with derivatives, THEY have forever assaulted the names of two of history's greatest minds and mathematicians, Newton and Liebnitz, creaters of calculus! Calculus has helped mankind build bridges and spaceships...all THEIR derivatives have built nothing but misery.

The "I'm so in DENIAL that I must be closer to Egypt than I really am" Award: To Barry Chamish. I have had his website listed here as "one of the ten best sites you've never heard of", but now I will have to rescind that choice. Innocently enough (since Chamish claims to be an anti-Zionist citizen of Israel by way of Canada, and Henry Makow's good friend), I had e-mailed Chamish after receiving one of his newsletters--he's always accusing the "new world order" and CFR of something, such as using Israel to launder money or whatever--so I e-mailed him to find out if he has heard of Christopher Story and his Wantagate stuff, and added that (as he claims he would not support hatred of any kind) it was too bad that Israeli settlers were destroying Palestinian property, which, in his line of thinking, would be wrong because (in his line of thinking) Israel would eventually lay claim to these properties (Chamish does not even believe a "Palestinian people" exist...these folks are just tending Israel's lands until Israel takes possession--in his line of thinking). Well! "Ridiculous!" he wrote back. "No Israeli settler would ever do that!" He wanted me to prove my accusations. But I wrote back saying, "Answer my question about Story first." Well, he would have none of that and wanted my proof (and, basically, would NOT answer my question no matter how much I bugged him. He is, after all, the great and busy Barry Chamish and has no time for pesky old me...). So, I sent him 15 links from all Israeli news sources (Haaretz, Y Net, and Jerusalem Post), one of which was a blog comment BY AN ISRAELI JEW on how terrible it is that Jewish settlers are burning Palestinian olive trees (because, as with Chamish, it is stupid to burn Israeli property), and other link to Ehud Olmert's demand that Jewish settlers in the West Bank stop destroying Palestinian property there. I doubt if I will hear back from Chamish because these accusations are now irrefutable. But the thing is, this man claims to know everything that is going on in Israel and visits there frequently, so for him to claim this isn't happening is DENIAL, DENIAL, and more DENIAL!

The "Fool-Story is half-right" Award: To Christopher Story of World Reports.org, who claims that once president, Barack Obama will secure the 27.5 trillion dollars of stolen Wanta/NESARA funding, and to Sucha Fool (aka Sorcha Faal) of What Does It Mean.com for claiming that Obama will have the military on BushCo if they refuse to release the money to the US Treasury forthwith for New Deal type programs I reported last newsletter that Obama wants to institute to supposedly keep the USA out of some sort of great depression scenario. Move over, Barry Chamish! As much as I love Story's whistleblowing (Faal? sheeesh!), he's loving the sound of his own printing press if he thinks CFR-owned, bankster-funded, lock, stock, and barrel Illuminist plaything Barack "Messiah" Obama is going to use these funds for anything other than keeping US imperialism afloat for another 20 years or so. Obama knows that China and Japan and the rest of the world are not going to keep funding our wars and our nuclear stockpiles forever. So, in the Big O's thinking--to heck with China, I'll just just all this moolah to ramp up the Military-Industrial Complex! That'll keep the sheeple from thinking I'm actually gonna use this money for their benefit! I have my backers to think about!

The "Who needs free-market principles when I have a chance for a bailout " Award: To frequent Lew Rockwell writer and free-market economics professor Lawrence Velvel, a victim of the Madoff fraud, who has yet to repudiate any chance that he might want to apply for getting part of a proposed bailout of victims of this fraud that Bush and the rest are talking about. I might be jumping the gun here, but how much you want to bet that if such a bailout is made, that he, believing himself to be a "victim," he won't repudiate "his'n." Because in the USA today, "victims" aren't just black, female, gay, Arab, Muslim, "Christian", and Scots-Irish...they are also possibly-phony free-market academics! Taxpayers be damned!

The "How many divisions does the Pope have?" Award: To the infilltrated "anti-new world order" movement, led by possible CIA operatives such as Alex Jones, for the most idiotic "anti-new world order" video ever made...and if Jones and his kind are spending the millions he makes fearmongering from selling his fear on InfoWars.com, Prison Planet.com and "We Are Change" (we can't believe in!) to make this kind of garbage, folks, we are definitely NOT in trouble and have NOTHING to worry about! I mean, a guy wears a mask with voice drowning capability standing in front of the vandalized Georgia Guide Stones (which are so threatening, telling us the world must have only half-a-billion people or else, that it looks as if NO ONE takes care of the grounds of this place!) exhorting "the people" to "rise up" and throw off "new world order tyranny"...but don't vandalize property! WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!

The "If the shoe fits wear it" Award: To President Bush, who not only knows how to duck when a pair of shoes is thrown at him in righteous anger, but knows how to duck responsibility every time America's paltry press calls him on his almost too many to number crimes, frauds, and miscalculations over the past eight years. The American Psychological Association and its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders have a word for folks like Dubya.

The "Shop 'til he drops" Award: To the Wal-Mart shoppers in Valley Stream, New York, who, on Black Friday of this year, stampeded a part-time secuirity guard to death.

Finally, on a more positive note, the following awards go to these winners in various endeavors in 2008. First, the "NFL 'Moving the Dash' fairy-tale season of the year" Award, to the Miami Dolphins, who, after going 1-15 last year, are two games away from making the playoffs and an 11-5 season (thus, "moving the dash" from 1-15 to 11-5). Next, the "He's not heavy, he's my (Aggie) brother" Award, to Texas A & M University, for rescuing my son and about 1,400 other Sea Aggies in Galveston from missing an entire semester due to Hurricane Ike. Third, the "Gaijin of the year" Award, to Mike (in Tokyo) Rogers (seen often on Lew Rockwell.com), for providing a portal for my daughter, Metropolitcan Magazine in English, Japan's leading news mag/classified ad mag in English, for finding job openings in that country. Finally, the "Modern-day Daniel in the den of lions" Award, to Zvi Kalisher of Israel, who, despite beatings and threats to him and his family, despite being called "traitor" to Israel and the Jewish faith (though he served his country in the 6-day and Yom Kippur wars), continues to spread the Word of Christ not only to Jews there, but Palestinians as well. Find out about his story here.

And a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
